疫情中心：鼠類不會散播染狂犬病

「狂犬病中央流行疫情指揮中心」今表示，根據世界衛生組織「狂犬病專家諮詢報告」，在狂犬病流行國家中，鼠類得到狂犬病只是「意外」或「偶發」，通常在有症狀前就已經死亡，不會再次散播病毒，WHO認為，如果是被鼠、兔抓傷、咬傷，不建議施打疫苗。

　台灣發現有錢鼠感染狂犬病個案，行疫情指揮中心指出，依據WHO專家意見，鼠類在狂犬病傳播上並非病毒宿主，不管是野生鼠類或與人類生活親近的鼠類，都不會散播病毒。

　至於我國是否遵循WHO建議、將鼠、兔抓咬傷排除在疫苗施打適用範圍之外，疾病管制署副署長莊人祥說，「衛生福利部傳染病防治諮詢會」近期將召開專家會議，由專家討論後決定。

　狂犬病動物病例，昨天並沒有再新增案例，仍維持82隻鼬獾、1隻錢鼠確診，疫情發生地點也維持8縣市39鄉鎮市。
